VIDEO LITE

You want VIDEO, but you don’t want to pay thousands for it or have a separate vendor.

Introducing Video Lite

We invented “Video Lite” — the behind-the-scenes wedding content coverage couples love — and built the first nationwide content creation team for weddings. Video Lite was formed as a need for budget video, but without losing quality. We tested this several different methods, and have found that modern cell phones actually trump the video quality of using cameras with ultra-budget videographers, plus it gave us the ability to price our services at incredibly affordable rates so no couple has to miss out on video. This is a VERY popularly purchased, 1-of-a-kind service we offer.

This is not a replacement for $2-3k cinematography, but our Video Lite clients have stated that they prefer this to ultra low budget videography and praise that don’t even notice a difference between this and videography!

All Video Lite packages include:

  • Your Video Lite Professional

  • 7 day turnaround

  • Cellular RAW videos throughout the day

  • BTS RAW Cellular photos throughout the day

  • Ceremony video

  • 1-2 minute highlight reel

  • Option for extended highlight reel or full-length film

My husband and I got married on July 13, 2024. We used them for both our photos and our video. The photos turned out amazing. The video was also affordable as it is shot on a phone, but you cannot tell. We love the quality and attention to detail that was given to us on our wedding day and the photos and videos we received!

Frequently Asked Questions

Ready to see if we’re available for your date?

  • It’s both — and better.

Hitched & Highlighted was created to bridge the gap between traditional videography and wedding content creation. We took what couples actually wanted (more footage, faster delivery, lower cost) and built a modern alternative.

    You get:

    • a professionally edited highlight reel

    • a full ceremony video

    • all raw videos from the day

    • behind-the-scenes photos

Many couples use us instead of videography, while others add us alongside a videographer for extra coverage and content that’s easy to save, share, and rewatch on your phone.

  • For many couples — yes.

Our service is designed for couples who want meaningful video coverage without the traditional videography price tag. Others choose to book us in addition to a videographer for more angles, candid moments, and behind-the-scenes footage.

There’s no right or wrong — it depends on how you want to relive your day.

  • We use high-end smartphones (iPhones and Androids).

Most of the footage you’ve seen on our Instagram was filmed on a phone — and couples are always surprised by how cinematic and polished it looks. We would never deliver anything that feels low-quality or “just phone footage.”

  • We don’t — and that’s intentional.

Modern smartphones are designed to capture clear, natural speech audio, especially in real-life environments like weddings. Unlike traditional cameras, which often require external microphones to sound good, phones are optimized for voices and ambient sound.

    This allows us to:

    • capture vows and spoken moments clearly without bulky equipment

    • stay discreet and unobtrusive during your ceremony

    • avoid awkward mic placement, clothing noise, or technical failures

In post-production, we also amplify spoken audio and reduce distracting background sounds (like wind, crowd noise, or shuffling), so your ceremony sounds clean and easy to hear.

If your ceremony setup includes amplified sound (a microphone through speakers), the phone captures that audio even more clearly.

Most importantly — we’ve never had an issue hearing a ceremony loud and clear at any of our weddings. Couples are often surprised by how good the audio sounds, especially compared to what they expect from “phone footage.”

  • Yes! You’ll be getting the raw images from your day, as well as the raw video taken throughout the day. You’ll get access to behind the scenes moments from throughout your day. The photos and video taken are done via cell phone, making it easy to store in your phone and keep forever!

  • Absolutely.

We’re very experienced working alongside photographers and other wedding vendors. In fact, most of our team members are photographers themselves, so we understand proper etiquette and never get in the way of your timeline or creative team.

Our role is to blend in and capture what’s happening naturally.

  • Photographers make up our Video Lite team. Why? Because we want someone with wedding industry experience to handle your video.

  • You’ll receive a private online gallery (Dropbox) within 7 days of your wedding date delivering:

    • your highlight reel

    • your full ceremony recording

    • all raw videos and photos

Everything is easy to download, save to your phone, share on social media, or send to friends and family.

Pro Videography FAQ

  • Can I get this if I already have Video Lite?

Yes! This is different than Video Lite and offers a great pair-up, or they can be used individually as single services for wedding video.

Your Video Lite would be back within 7 days and Pro Video would be back in 45 days.

  • Who will be my Videographer?

Our videography team is VERY small - 1-2 people per city. We do this because finding amazing videographers is very difficult, and we are obviously very picky about who gets to be on our team. All of their work can be seen above!

  • Will I get the RAW video too?

Yes! You’re paying for videography all day, so we think you also deserve the RAW footage since we’re there all day. This isn’t done very often in the industry due to the extensive file sizes (sometimes multiple Terabytes). Note that this can be very very large, so you will need to buy a large hard-drive to keep it on or a XL subscription to Dropbox if you want to store it online.

  • Are there any travel fees?

    Nope.

We’re local to the areas we serve, and there are no hidden or added travel fees. The price you see is the final price.

  • What is required to book and when is the rest due?

Booking is simple. Only $350 is due to book. You’ll have access to a client portal where you can make payments anytime. Many couples choose to make smaller payments via a custom payment plan over time — totally up to you. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.

  • Are you insured? Do you have backups?

    Yes and yes.

We’re fully insured and happy to provide a COI if your venue requires one. We also have emergency backup plans in place, including on-call team members ready to step in if needed.

Your day is protected — we’ve got you covered.
